MILORAD MILINKOVIĆ -
director and screenwriter
Born in 1965 in Belgrade. Graduated from the Academy Of Arts in Novi Sad, Department of Film and TV Direction. Student films: "Underground", "Departure”, and "Such Youth!”; his graduation project - "Satan of Pannonia”, achieved great success as the only film from the territory of former Yugoslavia to be presented at the Barcelona Biennale. He directed several short films. “Dead Cool” was his feature film debut.
He directed TV series "Rock Deserters”, "Rockuments”, "Parallel Worlds”, "Penal Zone” (documentary series), "The Black Gruja”, "Dead Cool” and a TV film "Balkanske impresije", as well as a series on the rock band "Zabranjeno pušenje" (No Smoking).
He directed the following stage plays: "Happy night", "Belgrade Stories”, "Once Upon A Time In Belgrade”, "Ziggy Stardust” and "The Lover”. He also directed more than 100 music videos, and is one of the most respected directors in that field. |
