A rented flat in Belgrade , situated above a local café, is occupied by a man who regularly buys lottery tickets, hoping to win the highest prize. His name is Srecko - Lucky (Nikola Vujovic)), although the circumstances of his life cannot be defined as lucky. Visnja (Milena Pavlovic), a local seller of lottery tickets, is in love with Srecko, her regular customer.
One evening, Srecko, utterly surprised, wins four million Euros. However, as things turned out, the lottery ticket ends in the hands of Zile (Gordan Kicic) and Sale (Slobodan Ninkovic Boda), the local café owners. Unprepared for dealing with such a high amount, they go to the island of Corfu, hoping that the Greek island would be an inspiration for their future business and wishing to avoid the police inspector (Srdan Todorovic), to whom they are more suspicious than Don and Vita (Dragan Bjelogrlic and Dragoljub Ljubicic Micko), bad guys who wish to grab the money.
In Greece , Zile and Sale are welcome by Spiros (the hotel owner) and his daughter Katarina, who falls in love with Sale . Due to carelessness of the Greek hosts, first Greek and then Serbian media make known that Zile and Sale are the lucky winners and that they are on Corfu . The information reaches the police, criminals, Visnja (who remembered the winning combination and is the only one who knows the true lucky winner) and, of course, Srecko (Lucky).
Since that moment, mobsters, police and some nice people are heading for Greece , in their pursuit of the lottery ticket. |
